New Scientist Environment
Bringing you the latest climate change news and research in non-scientific jargon, New Scientist’s Environment page is a great place to keep abreast of the latest developments on global warming. This section has many articles you can read for free but some stories provide you with a preview only and to get the full text you need to subscribe.

Australian Greenhouse Office
This comprehensive site provides extensive information on the greenhouse gas emissions from transport, house building, appliances and much more, as well as how to reduce them. It also provides links to a number of sustainability programs and tips for reducing emissions in the home, including information on building or renovating your home to be more sustainable.

Australian Conservation Foundation
One of a number of non-profit organisations working on the issue of climate change, the Australian Conservation Foundation has been very active with its Green Home sustainability project, as well as working with Al Gore to train many Australians to become educators on the issues. This is an excellent website with many useful resources on going carbon neutral, ethical investing, the latest climate change news, and more.

Calling themselves an eco superstore, Neco is a great online shopping portal that has all sorts of eco-friendly and sustainability products for the home and ships throughout Australia via Australia Post.

This US-based website is very accessible and has a great sense of humour. It contains the latest news on environmental issues, practical information on what you can do, reviews of environmentally sound products, celebrity environmentalists, and blogs on hot topics, all served up with a generous dose of laughter.
